Meheru Alaspure, Founder and Editor in Chief

Meheru is a sophomore studying at Ryan International, Pune. She loves tangerine sunsets, turkish lattes, Blair Waldorf, organic chemistry and Sylvia Plath. She is an editor for  Alexandrian Review, Petrichor Gazette, Library Of Revitaris (Head Editor) and a writer at Her  Med Society and Paradise on Parchment. She is also a researcher at Astrastem journal. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Alcott Youth Magazine, Purely Liminal, Incandescent Review,  Scribere and elsewhere. She has also been commended by John Locke University.

Lydia Pearson, Staff Writer

Lydia is a twenty-year-old English Lit and Creative Writing student, English tutor, editor and writer. They have a radio show, called 'Wired Different'. They've had work featured in over a dozen publications in a year, with some upcoming publications.

Emily Tong, Staff Writer

Hi, everyone! My name is Emily Tong, and I am a Staff Writer for Meraki Review. I am currently a high school sophomore in New Jersey. As someone who has always loved creative writing and the ability to express themselves that comes with it, I am absolutely thrilled to be able to contribute to Meraki’s mission. I generally tend to specialize in poetry and short stories! Some of my hobbies include painting, skiing, and graphic design; I can’t wait to work with this team!

Rae Bozeman, Staff Writer

Rae Bozeman (she/they) is a Black and Filipino-American writer and photographer. Majoring in Journalism with a Psychology minor, Rae aspires to deepen their experience with literature. At just 20 years old, Rae has already achieved a role as a sports photographer at their college. Rae’s super excited to be apart of the team and wishes all writers the best of luck in their journey!

Luran Yang, Staff Writer

Luran Yang is a writer based in the Pacific Northwest with a passion for Shakespeare and classical literature. They primarily write poetry that explores themes such as grief, time, and memory, as well as non-fiction prose. Outside of writing, Luran can often be found fishing, practicing the flute, or painting.

Ishani Oldham is a 16 year old high school junior from North Carolina. She is a lover of poetry, music and long walks. She is a ballet dancer and devoted older sister, and she’s thrilled to share her writing with the Meraki team!

I am a sleep deprived 17 year old trying to be as versatile as I can be.Additionally, I spend my day procrastinating, questioning reality and jamming to Radiohead. Overall, I believe writing is my forte, my salvation and the only thing that helps me escape from the daily troubles and I would love to become someone who helps others achieve THEIR goals in the future. :)

Emmanuelle Kramer, Staff Writer

Emmanuelle K. is a high school writer from the Northeastern United States. She has been recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and has been professionally published. She is currently the head editor of her state's Latin literary magazine. In her free time, she makes films and learns foreign languages.

Greetings! I am Catherine, a grade 11 student studying international A levels, with the
subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math. I am also an aspiring veterinary medicine student who is inquisitive and eager to learn more. I am always seeking more opportunities to expand my network in the world of veterinary medicine and sciences. In my free time, I enjoy writing, reading and drawing, which give me a peace of mind and as a medium to express myself whilst locking in for hours of studying every day.
